So I have seen youtubers trying out Poundland (Dollar Store?)makeup and I wanted to try some myself. So I picked up a mascara, pressed powder and a foundation. So I have been trying these out for the past week and I am going to be sharing my thoughts with you guys today.
When I first bought these make up there was a lot of different make up on the stand such as eyeliners, concealers, nail polish, foundations, bronzers, and I can tell you that there wasn't a huge shade range, there was probably around 4 different shades. Lucky for me they still had the light shades in stock!
So Poundland's make up brand is called 'Make Up Gallery' and does come with a range of products.
Gorgeous Fabulous Foundation
For £1 this foundation is not bad. It does have a light coverage however it is not build able and it does start to cake on your face. The colour I've got is the lightest and it is quite orange tone leaving the feeling that throughout the day you are going to be turning orange. I think that the packaging for all of the products is nice and sleek. The foundation is a tube and does get quite messy too.
Smoothly Does It Powder
When I first opened this product and swirled my brush around in it powder flew out everywhere. So for this product I recommend dabbing our brush into the pan instead of swirling. Th powder does do what it says, its smooths out my complexion and giving the smooth and soft feeling. This powder doesn't add a substantial amount of coverage but it does look nice on face and not too over done look.
Never Ending Story Mascara
My first opinions on this mascara is that it is very thick and it defiantly is. Also the brush is HUGE but dealable. This mascara doesn't add a lot of colour to our lashes but it does gives a lot length to your lashes for £1. If you are after a very natural look to your lashes then this is perfect. It does come in more colours if you are after more colour, or maybe I picked up the wrong shade. Again it is not bad.
